Bold Ideas, Honest Craft

Howdy, my name is Gil Morris, and I’m truly glad that you found your way to my site. As a devoted husband and father living in the vibrant state of Texas, I have a deep appreciation for the rich experiences that travel, family, and life as it happens brings.

As a passionate Digital Creator, I embarked on this exciting journey to document our family adventures, diving into the rich tapestry of diverse foods, captivating people, and unforgettable venues that we encounter. This project not only fuels my creativity but also pushes me to refine my content creation skills while navigating the ever-evolving landscape of ethical digital marketing. As an enthusiastic amateur photographer, having a platform for my photos ignites my desire to continuously learn and master new techniques for capturing life’s fleeting moments as they unfold.

I’ve spent a lot of years in IT — just over two decades helping businesses keep their tech running smoothly. I worked with all kinds of clients as a systems engineer for a Managed Service Provider, then moved into the financial world making sure accounting software and secure systems stayed reliable. Before that, I had my hands in healthcare IT, worked as a self-employed consultant, and even a corporate Help Desk position at a company that was a subsidiary of DuPont. These days, I take everything I’ve learned and share it here at realgilmorris.com through tech tips, reviews, and stories about life in Texas. And when I’m not talking tech, I’m usually creating Texas‑themed graphics or weaving local stories into my posts — because I think technology and creativity go hand‑in‑hand.

Feel free to browse around and explore the different sections of my site. You will find plenty of photos, anecdotes, and perhaps even some recommendations for your own travels. Should you ever need to reach out, please don’t hesitate to use the form on the Contact page to send me a message. I would love to hear from you and connect over our shared interests. Cheers!
