What Is a Notary Public?

A Texas Notary Public is a state-commissioned official authorized to witness the signing of important documents, administer oaths, and deter fraud. Gil Morris is commissioned by the State of Texas and bound by law to remain impartial, uphold confidentiality, and follow strict legal procedures.

Role of a Texas Notary Public

A Texas Notary Public serves as an impartial witness to help deter fraud and ensure the integrity of legal and commercial documents. Texas law requires that a Notary Public displays the following statement and a list of all Notary fees allowed by law which are listed below.

“I AM NOT AN ATTORNEY LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN TEXAS AND MAY NOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE OR ACCEPT FEES FOR LEGAL ADVICE.”

Notary Services

Mobile services available in the city of Waco and McLennan County. Travel and other administrative fees (business costs that are not Notarial fees) may also apply and will be itemized and detailed, if applicable, on a case-by-case basis.
